“Narrative emerges from intuitively layered images of objects, people, text, and surroundings. Fear takes shape in the memory of a man’s face flooded by a bicycle wheel. A woman and her dog become ingrained in blurred patterns of the background as they float away from the precision of hell. Mouths hang open like black holes cut into floating heads. As I find stories within layers of images, I see my own psychological constructs reflected in the world around me. The images reflect a reality constructed through the filter of past experience.”
