Artist Statement

“Workplaces! I believe the ever-present conflict between the need for people to conform to expected norms of professional behavior at their workplaces, and their true personalities itching to reveal themselves, is what provides a limitless source of material to cartoonists like me. Cartooning helps me make sense of life. For me, the deceptively simple yet severely challenging act of extracting humor from mundane situations and presenting it within a single sketch with a crisp caption is both, sobering and liberating. It teaches me to take living seriously, life not so much.”
