Artist Statement

“My art uses geometric and repetitive patterns to create a sense of movement and flow within the piece. Pen and pencil allow for the controlled expression of texture and shading. Organic forms inspire me to draw in this unique way to reveal the graceful unity of the natural world. I hope viewers of my art see beyond simple lines, curves, and shapes to see the spiritual connectedness that lies hidden in all life. In these pieces I wanted to challenge the viewer to see each piece from a unique perspective while still conveying the personality of each animal. “
