Artist Statement

“I struggle, as many other people do, with body image. In recent years, I have begun to use my insecurities as fuel for my artistic work. I now explores my own perceived physical flaws in my creative process, revealing and highlighting these “flaws” in my work. I find that exposing my anxieties, which have haunted me since a young age, is healing for both myself and the viewer. Creating art featuring my physical imperfections allows others to see their own flaws in a more accepting, tangible, and beautiful way.”
